Brian Winkelman is the CEO and Founder of Freedom Foodscapes, the first edible landscaping company in Illinois. His team installs permaculture-designed food forests on properties to help enable individuals and families to become more self-reliant and save money while bringing communities closer together.  He is also the Director of Co-operative Operations at Food Forest Abundance supporting all co-operative companies building their businesses. His professional background is in the Healthcare industry where he built large healthcare analytic platforms for health plans and self-funded employers to analyze their healthcare spending.
