U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth (or Hogsbreath) has been attempting to refute claims that the United States is betraying Ukraine by initiating peace talks with Russia without Kyiv's direct involvement. After discussions with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President Donald Trump announced plans to meet Putin in person, possibly in Saudi Arabia, to negotiate an end to the ongoing conflict.
