Today I am going to elaborate a little more on a recent post that I feel is very important for leadership right now. The post is adapted from a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quote in which gives us some very important questions to reflect on. For those in leadership roles and especially those who are making big decisions for crews and departments we have to ask ourselves when we are faced with choices what we will allow the deciding factor to be. We are constantly faced with overwhelming and difficult choices, even worse the most critical of these choices must be made in an instant with no time to deliberate. But the bottom line is that "what is right" has to carry the most weight when making these decisions.
There comes a time when we must take a position that is neither safe, nor politically correct, nor popular, but we must take it because our character tells us that it is the right thing to do.
No matter where or what you came from, great things can come from you!
