Having the Hard Conversations

The worst part of being a leader is having the Hard Conversations. The conversations to correct mistakes, bad habits, and/or areas that need to be addressed. As someone that hates conflict these are my least favorite times to be in charge but they can not be ignored. Slumps and plateaus as a crew are going to happen, there’s no avoiding that but those are just times that we need to reboot, re-energize, and recommit to the mission as a crew. And to do that requires open and honest conversation. Don’t let an opportunity pass to get back on track because you’re avoiding the tough conversations.
