Frank Viscuso - It All Comes Back to Family

It such an honor to be joined today by a mentor to so many of us, Chief Frank Viscuso. What I have come to love the most about Chief Viscuso’s message is that he always finds a way to bring it back to family.  Just like I love being around people that are passionate about the fire service because that passion is contagious, I also love being around people that are passionate about their family and for the same reasons. We love our families and want nothing more than to see them succeed and reach their full potential, so let’s mirror that as fire service leaders. Treat and care for the people that you lead like your children. Read that again, I didn’t say treat them like children I said treat them like “your” children. I think that’s a powerful statement.  

Even though this podcast is usually fire service centered, we should all spend just as much and even more time/energy/love on our family and at being better parents and spouses. I’m so excited to share this conversation with as many people as I can. It will truly add value to your life!
