Have you ever judged someone else? I’m not proud of it, but at a wedding I recently attended, I caught myself judging other people, more specifically, other women. I didn’t like how that felt.
Then, I was able to see and hear how some of these women were looking in the mirror and negatively judging themselves. Why do we do this?
I quickly researched why do people judge others and many reasons came up. From insecurities to a need to feel superior to projecting our flaws onto someone else.
In this episode, I reflect on judgement and how when we judge others and ourselves, we are definitely not living our best life and not contributing to the lives of others. In my case, I’m not following my motto of “leaving them better than I found them.”
I came up with an action plan to shift away from judgement. What do you do when you catch yourself judging others? Or looking in the mirror and seeing your wrinkles instead of your beauty? I really look forward to hearing about how you deal with judgement.
