Permission to Put Yourself First

I’m excited to celebrate with you my six month anniversary!  Six months ago, I gave myself permission to launch my podcast and every week since then have showed up. Six months ago, I also invited you to “get up off the wall” and get going on whatever projects you were interested in. Have you?  I would love to know.

Like with any project, I set milestones and then take the time to assess progress. I question whether I am reaching my goals, still aligned with purpose, and what has been my contribution.

In reflecting, I realized that in order to show up every week, I had to put myself first and that is not an easy concept for me.  There is always so much to take care of between family and work, that it’s easy to put my “stuff” on the back burner.  

I have experienced the contrast of leaving my things for later and now making sure that I don’t leave my heart’s desires for another time.  I have created space and boundaries and then the magic happens.  Have you had magic happen?
