By now, we’ve all seen a million perfectly curated morning routine videos and read numerous articles and blog posts about how if you don’t have the perfect morning routine you’re gonna be a loser for life. We all know that your average billionaire wakes up 3 hours earlier than us mere mortals, and that Oprah meditates for 20 minutes before taking an invigorating walk around her Montecito mansion and tucking into an organic meal prepared by her private chef. But really- why are we so obsessed with morning routines? To what extent do they work, or not work? Are there truly some things we should be doing in the morning to increase our creativity and productivity?
