615 Confessions of an Upset Mama! I can't do this!

Nothing is more frustrating and heartbreaking than hearing your child shout, "I can't do this!".

And it's not just about the sentence. It's what they are continually instilling deep within their own core foundation; their inner self, their authentic self.

We start with the Olympic Cauldron. This enormous belief torch we all start with. We carry the invincible belief torch.

But as we get older, our belief torch can begin to shrink, one failure at a time; eventually becoming the size of a match.

Unfortunately, some are left with only ashes.

You are not immune to it either. "I can't do this!" Maybe you recently shrugged off this statement spoken by your child, mumbled to yourself. Or maybe it's been a fleeting thought like a fallen autumn leaf blowing across the field.

Every time you say "I can't do this!", or paraphrase it a little differently, you are shrinking your belief torch.

As your belief torch fades, so does your dreams and your passion.

You don't want to diminish your belief torch. You want to build it up. As a mom, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a woman... We need to keep it ignited. It only takes a spark!

"A fire ignited by a spark of belief can burn down a forest of doubts."
