The new school year is about to start. This is a fresh start. So dare not to compare.

We not only do an injustice to ourselves, but we do it to our children; sometimes not even knowing it.

If your child is good at something:

• Don't assume it's the right opportunity again.
• Discuss the goals and aspirations of what your child wants.
• Decide what is best for this year.

If your child isn't good at something:

• Don't assume the same thing will happen this year. 
• Put in place measures to prevent the "bad".
• Find the brighter possibility.
• Encourage and set boundaries.
