531 Confessions of a Happy Mama! What my children teach me daily

Human nature and communication fascinates me. With summer here, our home is a revolving door for the neighbors. What my children teach me daily is they too are leaders!

Whether your a stay at home mom, an entrepreneur, a woman with a deep-seeded passion, you too are a leader. What captivates my heart is that the children see it before we do.

Here's where the "upset" part comes in though. we down play the importance of our role. When our children up play us. They know how special you are. But you throw caution to the wind and convince yourself that you aren't all that. You're just a mom!

This may be a little graphic --- but we are committing emotional suicide. Why shoot yourself in the foot? You are incredible with what you've been given. Times may get tough, tempers may get elevated, finances may get stretched; but that doesn't change the fact the potential you have within you.

Your children see it. Your sweetheart notices. But you brush yourself under the rug as if a dust bunny.

Stop putting yourself down. You have children, people in your life, your hubby, your extended family, your business partners that see you as a leader. Someone with a mission, a passion to go beyond the norm.

You are special!!!

What my children teach me daily is I make a difference! You make a difference in their life. They may be young and not know how to express themselves. But it's the quiet hug, the brief smirk you see as they walk away, the text message that is all emojis. 

YOU make a difference!!! You are a leader!!!

So when you're frustrated or feeling down and out, or maybe you're riding on cloud nine, know you are the definition of IMPACT ---I'm pushing ahead creating transformation.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Be present in your daily interactions!

1. Watch how your children respond; your hubby responds.
2. Know their reactions, their facial expressions, their body language, their mannerisms.
3. Intertwine yourself in the moment as if no one else is around. Operate with blinders on.

This is what our children want of us. The desire this attention from the leader they respect most, YOU!!! We in turn expect this of them.
