391 Diary of A Wimpy Parent: Discipline

Raising children in today's world has it's challenges. This is said by all parents. How can you raise children and not make it be the diary of a wimpy parent?

No matter where you are in your life's parenting journey, there will always be challenges. What is right? To discipline or not to discipline.

Remember the mommy stare down while your child has a melt down in the middle of the store. You feel as big as an ant; everyone looking. You are turning red and not accomplished as a parent.

Today, it's time to put a spin on discipline. Keep in mind, all of this is reflective. What you ask of your child, you must do for you. 

What can you do so you're not the wimpy parent when it comes to discipline?

The K.I.S.S. ~ Set clear expectations that encompass your child's strengths!

1. You must be the role model. (Do as you say.)


2. Set expectations age appropriate.


3. With expectations set, the boundaries are known. Discipline is now a teaching moment.
