At times in our lives, we feel SO insignificant. No matter how hard you try, you never seem to make the cut. Look beyond the surface. Face to face, who do you see?
One with thoughts flooding the mind...condemning thoughts. I'm not enough thoughts. What was I thinking thoughts. Is this all life has to offer me thoughts.

You may think... I've messed up. I have blown it. I have failed! I'm all washed up. Face to face, all I see are mistakes, mishaps, and misgivings.
As I sat in my truck the world seeming to crash around me as I tried to conquer all the moving problems plus daily stuff, with not much luck, all I could do was shout out in frustration, "I quit! I'm not cut out for this."
A gentle voice awoken my heart as I heard the spoken words, "You're not a failure. You're a champion. Not many people do what you do for your children. You can do this!"
It totally caught me off guard. Face to face, who are you?
You see, my son was in the truck with me as my frustration and disappointment in myself became very vocal.
God sees you as my son saw me. Face to face is more than just a reflection. It's what God sees in your every day, a beautiful masterpiece.
"The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7 NIVWhen your own thoughts attempt to convince you that you don't measure up, think again. God sees your heart. He sees beyond the mistakes, mishaps, the misgivings. He sees beyond what others say about you. They hold no weight in God's eyes!
You see, God sees a woman under construction with incredible worthiness. He sees a woman with love and devotion trying her best every day. He sees who you are becoming...Your best selfie!
