Have you ever felt like staying in bed, pulling the covers over your head, and not doing anything? Winter typically is the season that brings out the "blahs" in all of us. The sunshine is limited with ouvercast, gray skies. Yet, most of us don't have the fortune of hibernating as a bear. There is actually a term for this ... S.A.D., seasonal affective disorder.


What can you do to bring sunshine into the dull days of winter, especally with the Storm of 2015. 


 The K.I.S.S. ~ 5 Action Steps to brightening your winter.



  1. Take walks when the weather is good, especially above freezing. And this is a great time to get on the treadmill. 

  2. Open up the blinds and let the REAL light filter in the home or at work.

  3. Drink lots of water. Hydration is very important.

  4. Dress with a splash of color and be the sunshine.

  5. Use your Joy Jar and make note of your blessings. Take your winter blahs and turn them to AHAs.


Lastly, be intentional about serving others with a giving heart. And remember, Spring is just around the corner.
