You don't see things turning around. Every setback seems like a way to dig deeper into despair.
Optimism used to be your middle name, but now you question.
You are not alone. There are times that everyone falls into a rut where nothing is going right. Wrong seems more normal than right being uncomfortable.
I received a text from a friend asking me, "What's unfair, and what's not right?"
Life is unfair. Life is unpredictable.
No matter what you think you are doing right, it seems like it can add up only to what's wrong.
But you don't have to run away. Your setback is a setup for a comeback. However, you have to be patient and not lose heart.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Do not lose heart! "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." ~ 2 Corinthians 4:16-18You don't have to know all the answers. In fact, ask more questions. Think of it as preparation for your comeback.
God never leaves you nor will He forsake you. Yes, you might feel alone, but He is present.
Don't run because of fear. Latch onto the truth.
Fear is just a way of remaining locked in the unknown. But you don't have to fret. Fix your eyes on the unseen. God's got you!
Walk by faith.
Yes, the struggles are real. Yes, the hurt is real. Do not lose heart. Regardless of where you are, God's got you! God will redeem, restore, and repair.
