This is the season of Autumn. The leaves are changing colors, the trees are becoming bare.
Just as the season of the year, we as parents have seasons with our children.
We give them gifts that help them grow and mature.
In some areas, we give them wings to soar.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ~ Isaiah 40:31Yet in other areas, we give them roots to build strong foundations.
And then everything in between can be the storms or the sunshine.

When you look at how God created you, He didn't sit back and expect you to do everything. He has trained you by circumstance and situation. He has ruffled your feathers and calmed your fears.
We are expected to do the same for our children.
REFLECTION: What are you doing for your child today? Are you fitting them with wings or growing their roots?
