When days lead into months then to years, you can't help but wish you could slow down time.
- No more all evening snuggles.
- No more kisses.
- No more bedtime stories.
- No more cool hangout time.
One thing I love is chatting with other mothers (and fathers), and listening to their stories. What they love about how they raised their children, and what they wished they had done differently.
It's the good, the bad, and the ugly of parenting.
A recent conversation with my flower gal, she shared with me what she told her children.
And I couldn't help but think how powerful this would be in a child's life and our own.
She said, "I tell my children as they go off for the day, 'Make a memory and a difference.'"

Think about how that statement could impact your day to day.
- Make a memory. Be present. You are not guaranteed tomorrow. But you have THIS moment. Make a memory. Be present in the moment.
- Make a difference. Go out and impact the world that you touch.
- Be YOU!!! Love your child, love your spouse, love yourself right where they are. Forcing them to be someone they are not only complicates their life.
What do you tell your children as they head out for the day at school? What do you tell your spouse as he goes to conquer the world?
What we say matters, especially those little things we repeat.
If you are one who doesn't put a lot of thought into what you say as you send your child off, I challenge you to pay attention to what you do say.
Words have power. So plant the seeds daily!
