Why is it that everything in life involves change? And with change, control isn't always a bad thing!

How many times have you been told you control too much? You take it too far in organizing the day, planning for tomorrow, and understanding the path you are on.

Control can be positive and negative.

You can let yourself spiral out of control and let your emotions get the best of you.

Most of us have heard the saying... "You can't control everything life throws you."

You can recount a time where you let it all hang out for the worse; exploding with anger or frustration. Maybe just not handling it the way your would have if you had been in control.

Think back to that time. What did you like about how you handled yourself?

  • You were very honest.
  • You did not fear to respond as usual.
  • You stood up for yourself.

What did you NOT like about how you handled yourself?

  • You could have changed the way you spoke the truth; not being so blunt, speaking out of love.
  • You could have paused and created space to respond more appropriately and calmly.
  • You were rude to those who really weren't part of the situation.

Control isn't always a bad thing, yet there is a positive and negative effect.

When you tune-in to your emotions, understand

Life throws curveballs and being ready for the unexpected takes preparation.

We are going to remove the negative stigma of control and focus on how you can control you!

That's the KEY! You can only control you!!

Prepare to unlock the secrets of control that readies you for the unexpected.

  1. Keep your emotions in check. Emotions are not meant to lead your reactions. You must decide on your response and take action.
  2. Understand your personal triggers. What sets you off in certain situations? Have a plan that will give you space when in that situation occurs.
  3. Never underestimate YOU. Take away the excuses. Stop blaming others. Bring the responsibility back to what you can control...YOU!

Control isn't always a bad thing. You can actually use it for the positive and see a dramatic change in your life for the better.
