1185 I Am Marked

What did you wake up telling yourself this morning? I am ready for the day. I am marked!

Maybe your mindset wasn't very positive. You were thinking more about another dreaded Monday to start this "great" week.

And that GREAT is so sarcastic. But you do anything to keep a half smile alive.

Being really honest, sometimes we get up with the negative thoughts, the "I can't do anything right" perspective, and we end up drowning our days with fears before we even give the day a chance.

How unfair. But we do.

You might be clinging to anxiety, depression, anger, worry, discontentment, sadness, a broken heart.

Today is a different day. It's a new day. And you are marked by the hand of God.

People may acknowledge you by what you've done or what you're doing. They may discount you; tossing you to the side because of what you aren't doing. You can't win for losing.

Remember though, today is a new day!

You see God doesn't see things the way you see them. He sees through the messes, through the failures, through the turmoil and tragedies.

He sees a woman, a man, marked by His love and grace.

He sees potential in the purpose you are giving up on. God looks at your heart. (1 Samuel 16:6) Why are you giving up on your purpose? He hasn't yet, and won't ever.

God knows your journey ahead will not be easy. You will take some knockouts and hits before you get even close to where you want to go.

But remember, you are marked. Say it... I am marked.

Now I hear the murmurs. How can I keep going with this dream and what God has placed in my heart if I can't do anything, or I don't have the finances? Or whatever your excuses are. Nothing is lining up.

You're wrong! God is lining everything up.

What you need to know within your mind, within your body, and within your spirit is know that you are marked.

And with His marking, you can live out your purpose with a heavenly mindset.

1. KNOW that "I am God" (Isaiah 45:5). There is no other. He has everything under control. It's not your time to question. It's your time to trust.
2. REJOICE in the complications. But why? I'm not where I want to be. I'm living a life that's full of crap, if I'm honest. See it as an adventure. Be on the lookout, have a watchful eye. Because God is sending you His God winks. And those are the best.
3. Take A.I.M and be OBEDIENT. Seriously? I am being obedient. I'm trying to get to where He is showing me. I want to live out His dream. Or are you? Are you trying to script your own life or are you allowing God to script your life. God knows best. You know the saying, Father knows best.

In all this, you must be you! And that includes in your weaknesses too. God's strength is made perfect in your weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10)

So what do you say today?

When you repeat this to yourself, "I am marked", you will feel a rush of God's strength within you. God driving your life. Messes and blesses!
