Sitting watching the minutes pass by, endings are new beginnings. There's no reason to have your heart captivated by what's of the past. Look forward to what's ahead.

But what tends to occur is the drowning of our thoughts in things we didn't get right, what we didn't accomplish.

Have you ever had the thought that ... "I have everything I need to be happy, but I feel so empty. I have no purpose. I feel like I'm suffocating on the inside. But no one knows."

Sometimes life gets in the way of our heart's dreams. The ones that make us feel alive and driven to keep going even when times are tough.

What about the goal you recently accomplished. How did you feel when you reach it at that moment? And then what about 2 days later?

It's like the wind gets knock out of your sails. So what's next?

I personally hit this when we decided not to have any more children. It took many months to realize that me not having any more babies did not rob me of being a mother. In fact, the opportunity to become an impactful mother grew even more. I have been able to appreciate all the stages with my children. I have been able to experience life with them.

Endings are new beginnings.

There's another yet to be written. It may look a little different. It may feel a little different. You might discover something your heart never considered.
