On today's episode Ron my muscular dystrophy friend is back. We decided to chat about the challenges in life. One of the people we know is dying of cancer, his unwilling to deal with the "Will". The choices we make while we are young can make life easier, if we take care ourselves. Please go have yourself check up every year, to prevent illness.
Moving on from our health concerns, time to talk about my new toy which is actually an old item. I bought a record player, amazing how everything turns into a full circle. I want to shout to the "Corner Record Store" in Granville Michigan, they are the folks who restore electrical audio systems to resell. Ron mention the bass, how I can make my sound better at home. It reminded me of the cars in 1990's that had car audio systems with a lot bass, Ron doesn't understand the importance of having that in my youth. How CBGB was important for punk rock in NY in the 1970's.
Speaking of music venues, Ron and I rated the venues that support music in Grand Rapids MI. Most GR residents remember where the "Intersection" use to be in "Eastown." How about the "GLC" on Fulton. Prolly one of our favorite spots in GR, there's not a bad seat in my opinion and Ron with his wife seems to love it there. I love the "Pyramid Scheme." It has ping pong machines in the front and the stage in the back of the bar. Our least favorite places for music is the Van Andel Arena, those who know,
