The Adventures of Philip Marlowe was a show featuring detective Philip Marlowe. Mr. Marlowe was a slightly more complex character than many of the more hard boiled detectives of the time. The show premiered in 1947 on NBC, then the show moved to CBS in 1948. Gerald Mohr played Philip Marlowe while on CBS.
