Sky King was an American radio adventure series that aired from 1946 to 1954. The show starred Earl Nightingale as Schuyler "Sky" King, a heroic rancher and pilot who used his airplane to thwart criminals, rescue people in distress, and solve mysteries. The program was set in the fictional Flying Crown Ranch in Arizona, where Sky lived with his niece, Penny King, and nephew, Clipper. The series' success later inspired a television adaptation, which expanded its audience and secured its place in popular culture.
