Christopher London starred Glenn Ford as a San Francisco detective who traveled the world in pursuit of mystery, adventure, and beautiful women. London trained in "Oriental philosophy" at a Chinese monastery, giving him a unique edge in investigating mysteries. The show only survived three episodes, despite having a talented cast and production personnel. NBC placed the show opposite CBS's Jack Benny Program; it was unable to put a dent in Benny's audience.
