Bath Time Flooding

Why don't kids feel the need to flood your bathroom when is the bath time? Why can't kids just go in the bathroom wash themselves, rinse off, get out and step on the rug...etc. Then please brush your teeth but no I got a step in the bathroom in a pool. Let's talk about it.
