The Law Enforcement Safety Officers Act (LEOSA), first passed federally in 2004, allows "qualified Law Enforcement officers" and "qualified retired or seperated Law Enforcement officer (QRLEO) to carry a concealed firearm in any jurisdiction in the U.S. or United States Territories, regardless of state or local laws with a few exceptions on state and private property. Tim Rupp combs over an article from Police1 suggesting that the State of New Jersey hasn't complied with LEOSA and doesn't plan on abiding with the federal law. You can determine your thoughts and opinions based off this article.
