EP 44: 08/16/23 Director of Miami-Dade Police Force Shoots Himself

It's not very often that we hear about a LEO, or someone in law enforcement, who shoots him/her self. We do hear about suicide often though, which is unfortunate. In this particular case, the head of the Miami-Dade Police Force was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife. The police were called after witnesses say they heard a man and a woman arguing in a Tampa hotel. The police arrived, interviewed the two persons involved and determined that charges would not be filed. The two then left the hotel and continued arguing, and that's when he deliberately shot himself.
