This episode of Conversations with Ross features Michael Brandt.
Michael is the co-creator of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. Michael has also co-written the screenplays (with Derek Haas) for Wanted, 3:10 to Yuma, and 2 Fast 2 Furious.
Michael discussed the highs and lows of being a working screenwriter. He talked about breaking in, running a writers room, pitching, and what mistakes he sees young writers make most often. He offered some good behind-the-scenes stories on Chicago Fire, and his past experiences working with Quentin Tarantino, and Robert Rodriguez.
I hope you listen to and enjoy our conversation. This interview is also available to download for free on iTunes and Stitcher.
