When we pause, we suddenly realize that we have a lot of meetings in our life.  It's the key way of getting things done and organized.  The Christian life is not meant to live isolated, but live in fellowship with other believers. For this reason, Hebrews 10:24–25 tells us to “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together... Regular, real-life, day-to-day fellowship meetings with other Christians is an essential component of Christian growth and perseverance.

The early believers were devoted to meeting daily in their homes for teaching, fellowship, worship, eating meals, sharing in the Lord’s Supper, and praying together. The early believers came together for larger corporate meetings (Acts 2:44). Their commitment to one another was so profound that they pooled their resources and shared what they had with those in need. Meeting together won’t keep us from being attacked, but it sure will make us stronger, and prepared to withstand the attacks or prepared to meet our Maker.
