Pediatric Integrative Medicine and What It Truly Means to Heal the Whole Child

Dr. Lawrence Rosen is a renowned integrative pediatrician, author and founder of the Whole Child Center in New Jersey. He has been in the field of pediatrics for nearly three decades and is a passionate advocate for yoga, meditation and creating a new health care paradigm for the whole child. He wrote Treatment Alternatives for Children, which was a Mom's Choice Gold Award honoree, to help parents learn about science-based natural solutions to common pediatric conditions. 

In this episode, Shay Beider welcomes Dr. Rosen to the podcast. They discuss how his interest in medicine began, why he's dedicated his career to pediatric integrative medicine and what it's like working in an interprofessional team. They also discuss the ramifications of COVID-19 and how it has impacted him, as a pediatrician and as a parent.
