Today we hear from Jessica Bartholomew, Founder and Executive Director of ACT United in Carver County, Minnesota. With 25 years of experience working with children, teens, and families in youth outreach, domestic and foreign missions, and as a Police Officer, Jessica brings firsthand information and experience to the issues of child and teen sexual exploitation, abuse, and sex trafficking.
Jessica talks with us about prevention tools, open dialogue questions and techniques with kids/youth and shares some real life experience through story with us. This is such a valuable conversation that gives parents, aunts & uncles, teachers, mentors... basically any of us that have connections to young people... the language to enter into conversations about abuse, privacy and safety.
