Survivors Speak Series // Ep 5: Amy's Story

This Survivors Speak series is taking us into a variety of hard conversations, and this episode is no different. Yet, these hard conversations are exactly the ones we need to have and learn from so that we can be safe people for others who have experienced the same kind of trauma and abuse. Amy shares with us her powerful story of childhood trauma and abuse and her road to healing. Her heart's cry is that more safe spaces are made for those walking around with trauma - that people choose to listen, have compassion and make space for the hurt and pain instead of ignoring it or sweeping it under the rug. Let's be those people who have listened, learned and now have open eyes to the brokenhearted. Let's be the safe people looking out for those around us.
