• We heard from experts in finance (“power money moves for women'') and marketing, social media and startup advice. And we covered diverse subjects like “how trauma affects our lives” and learned how a single mom on welfare became a powerhouse spokeswoman and advocate on “purpose-driven change” - as well as the founder/CEO of a leading eco-friendly pest control company!
• And of course we discussed the big elephant in the room - the pandemic: the various ways it’s impacted our lives and up-ended some of our businesses, and shared some creative tools and resources to face these hurdles and try to stay on track with our business and our lives in general. To essentially “remain afloat” through the storms of a surreal 2020 and 2021.
