Episode 136. Prioritizing Your Health During Major Life Stress with Laura Melnick - My very special guest today is Laura Melnick, a member of the Weight Release Shift program and community!

I invited her on the podcast today to not only share her experience so far with the journey, but also to share how the program has helped her during major life event, in which she almost lost her 11-year-old daughter due to a misdiagnosed health condition.


Our conversation focuses on Laura's bravery while advocating for her daughter's health to get the care that she needed and on how Laura was able to prioritize her health, as we teach in the program, so she could stay healthy and strong to help her daughter. This episode is so beautiful and inspiring and I really wanted to use this opportunity to help her spread the message for other parents that potentially are going through a similar situation. I really loved our conversation and hope it will touch your heart as much as it has touched mine.

About Laura Melnick…

Prior to the end of 2022, Laura had always prided herself on her ability to handle stressful situations as well as her genuine positive attitude. She married later in life, and they were blessed to have 2 children together and she spent the past 12 years trying to navigate marriage, parenthood, and of course the “M” word; menopause. Laure met Juliana last fall through a mutual colleague, Debbie Sluys, as she was the guest speaker at a Dare to Declare workshop. She immediately bought her new book “Release” and signed up for her Weight Release Shift Program. Little did she know how useful those tools would be and she had only just begun.
