SORORITY STORIES: #02 ARE YOU USING PAGEANTRY OR IS PAGEANTRY USING YOU?

When I was watching the Miss Earth beachwear competition, Saartje Langstraat's video really stood out... but not necessarily for the reasons you might be thinking.

Yes it was an amazing video.

Yes the production values were off the charts.

Yes Saartje looked amazing and obviously knows how to walk.

BUT most importantly, this is a young woman who happens to fit pageantry down to a T. She hasn't had to change herself or invent an advocacy in order to compete.

And I think that's part of what really makes her stand out - knowing what she stands for, knowing what she's passionate about, and yes obviously loving the stage too.
