Gemma White describes herself as the girl next door, an ordinary girl with extraordinary dreams.

Her journey to her first national title took years of hard work and overcoming many obstacles including bullying, depression and anxiety and two chronic illnesses.

We caught up with Gemma a couple of weeks out from her trip to Vegas to represent Australia on the international stage.
