The 32th edition of Final Cut in Venice, the programme to support films in post-production from all African and selected Arab countries (Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria), has concluded with the Awards ceremony.




FINAL CUT IN VENICE  is the programme of the Venice Production Bridge to support films in post-production from all Africa and selected Arab countries (Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Yemen).


For the ninth year, La Biennale di Venezia gives La Biennale di Venezia Prize (€ 5.000) to support the Best Film in post-production.

The jury, composed of Fatih Abay (European Film Academy), Nathalie Jeung (Kinology), Claudio Rapino (Maestro Distribution) has awarded the film in post-production:

Out of school (La cour des grands) di Hind Bensari (Morocco, Denmark) – focus on Morocco


Yesterday the eye didn’t sleep di Rakan Mayasi (Belgium, Lebanon, Palestine)


Standing at the ruins (Al woqoof ala el atlal) di Saeed Taji Farouky (Egypt, United Kingdom) – focus on the United Kingdom


Legacy (Soleil, lune, étoiles) di Mamadou Dia (Senegal, France)
