In this time of political divisiveness, it is refreshing to read about men like Mr. Tom Bird of Seguin, TX., who now spends most of his nights working with young men who find themselves as refugees and undocumented immigrants housed in the Freeman Coliseum of San Antonio, TX.  His story is a breath of fresh air of someone who cares for those in need.  Today's devotional comes from 1 John 3:15-18 where the scriptures plainly says that if we are truly Christ's disciples we will react with love and compassion with our deeds, and not just our words, to those who are in need.
