Unigold Inc. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company, which is focused primarily on exploring and developing its gold assets in the Dominican Republic. The Company operates through its subsidiary, Unigold Resources Inc., and Unigold Dominicana, S.R.L. Its Neita Concession encompasses 21,031 hectares of the Tireo Formation, a thick sequence of intermediate volcanic and volcanoclastic rocks produced by island arc volcanism that are prospective for porphyry copper (Cu) and Cu-gold (Au) deposits; high to low sulphidation Au and Au- silver (Ag) epithermal deposits; and volcanogenic hosted massive sulfide (VHMS) Au-Ag-Cu- lead (Pb)-zinc (Zn) deposits. The Neita Concession comprises of intermediate volcanic and volcanoclastic rocks of the Upper Cretaceous aged Tireo Formation, intruded by Upper Cretaceous to Eocene aged felsic to ultramafic intrusive rocks.
