bumper cars are a mandatory feature of every town holiday in portugal. be they of religious origin - and they mostly are - or not, you can count on bumper cars and similar paraphernalia (merry-go-rounds, rollercoasters and the like) to be there. unlike those, however, bumper cars always have a particular soundtrack, always revolving around dance music. it's usually shit. but does it have to be?

here i tried to recreate that sound, but using tracks i like and that, i think, are in better taste than the typical eurodance you'll hear blasting of the speakers around bumper cars. since i've been missing these kind of parties - in fact this is the third year in a row i'm skipping them... - , and since they formed such a big part of my childhood, this is a kind of tribute i made to my own homesickness. (like anyone cares! lol) anyway, this is just a narrative that, being on a flight with not much else to do, i decided to wrap around this set i made. hope you enjoy. tracklist below.
