Community Talks- Suffrage Day 2024

Suffrage Day is Celebrated September 19th and 2024 marks the 131st anniversary of women winning the right to vote in New Zealand. This year's Suffrage Day celebration features speeches from Hon. Nicola Grigg, Deputy Mayor Pauline Cotter, Elisabeth Cunningham, Helen Osborne, Nancy McShane and others. Suffrage Day is organised by The National Council of Women Christchurch Branch.
