Book of Mormon: Jacob 1-4
Do you feel the weight of parenthood? Do you feel anxiety for the welfare of your children? Do you find it hard to be honest and communicate effectively with your loved ones? If we have a responsibility to love our family, what does that “LOVE” look like? Today we learn how to be clear in our conversations and how to recognize love. I know I could use ALL THE things!
Jacob is a very loving leader. He also tries his best to follow the Lord’s will and sometimes that means doing hard things. He had to be bold and honest with his people. Being honest and saying hard things doesn’t mean he loves them any less even when they are doing wicked things. It just means he loves them more. He never gives up on them. In this episode we talk about how we can learn from Jacob example of leadership. How similar is our role as parents? What tools does Jacob use to care for and lead his people? Can we learn from and use some of those tools in our family? Today we cover it all....
