Come Follow Me 2022 Old Testament April 18-24 Exodus 18-20  

The Ten Commandments were the very beginning of the Lord's teachings for the Israelites. This was the foundation that was meant to be built upon. The Lord intended His people to be holy and righteous, so righteous that He could stand among them. The Ten Commandments were to set the stage for helping His people grow. As such, I can imagine that each of these commandments was essential and deeper than what meets the eye. One of these commandments, to not take the Lord's name in vain, is one such commandment. How might this commandment mean more than we're used to?
