This is a story of trauma and tail wags.

If you’re a dog person, this one is definitely for you. The jury is still out for me, though. My girlfriend wants a pet, and I’m on the fence. To get me acclimated to the idea, we’ve taken two rescue dogs out on day trips to very different results. Can a boy who grew up scared of dogs grow to love them?
