Dr. Emilie Joos (@EmilieJoos) is a trauma surgeon at the Vancouver General Hospital.  She is also a Canadian leader in global surgery. We talked about the global response to the Haiti earthquake, challenges in global surgery, and advice to trainees interested in global surgery.
