Pantsing allows the opportunity of discovery while writing, but plotting moves things along faster in the writing process. Both methods hold great value for authors, but when you get bogged down it's not the time to quit. It's time to knuckle under, change things up, and figure out how to get out of the mud and weeds to move forward again.
