Today we are going to be talking about “Preparing our bodies, souls, and minds to whole-heartedly experience Christmas this year.” Christmas is a beautiful season that many of us anticipate. Spending time with our loved ones and celebrating the hope of Jesus can fill our hearts with joy, but it seems to happen every year, that while we intend to be present and focused on those things, other things begin to pull us in every direction. Whether it be parties, shopping for the perfect gifts, or decorating our homes, we’re always trying to fit in all the things we want to do. Before you know it, the season is gone and we’re left feeling like we missed something even though we tried to do everything! Our guest today, Jen Ludwig, author of the daily devotional, Embracing Advent: Rediscovering Christmas in the Chaos, is here to invite us to rediscover the gifts of hope, peace, and joy that God extends to every one so that we can experience more of Him this holiday season.
