Matsuda Latte (Named after the town)
Yield: 1 serving (12 oz drink)
Ingredients:
•Tea Base:
•1 tsp Black China Rose tea
•6 oz hot water
•Matsuda Syrup: (see recipe below)
•1-2 oz Matsuda syrup
•Milk & Garnish:
•6 oz hot frothed milk
•Rose petals (for garnish)
•Lemon cardamom grain (for garnish)
Instructions:
1.Steep Black China Rose tea in hot water for 3-5 minutes. Strain if necessary.
2.Add 1-2 oz of Matsuda syrup to the tea.
3.Pour in hot frothed milk and stir gently.
4.Garnish with rose petals and a sprinkle of lemon cardamom grain.
5.Serve and enjoy!

Matsuda Syrup
Yield: 10 oz
Ingredients:
•1 cup white sugar
•1 cup water
•3 drops lemon oil
•1 tsp almond extract
•1 tsp ground cardamom or 6 cardamom pods
•2 tbsp rose water
Instructions:
1.In a saucepan, dissolve sugar in hot water over medium heat.
2.Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
3.Add lemon oil, almond extract, cardamom, and rose water.
4.Let simmer for 3 minutes, then remove from heat.
5.Allow to cool before using. Store in an airtight container.
