Dasha, a 23-year-old artist and songwriter, has rapidly ascended as an upcoming artist to watch, and closely. Her 2021 EP, 'Shiny Things,' captivated a devoted TikTok fanbase, paving the way for her eagerly anticipated debut album, 'Dirty Blonde,' which was released in early 2023. The album's preceding eight singles, released over the past year, achieved millions of streams and secured placements on prominent editorial playlists such as Spotify's Night Pop, Chill Pop, Soda, NMF Belgium, and Apple Music's Acoustic Summer and Breaking Singer/Songwriter. Dasha's music is characterized by its authenticity, raw emotion, and relatability, mirroring her genuine self-expression. Her passion for storytelling, ignited by music theatre, and dance, evolved when she began playing the guitar and piano at the age of eight, when she started writing songs in the back of her school notebooks during class.This newfound authenticity in her music has led Dasha to a place where her artistry truly thrives, marking a significant turning point in her career.

“I am a songwriter and a storyteller first so I love that this song drops you into this fantasy world where you are in this sunburnt town and in the middle of the conflict," Dasha explains. "It's so boot clappy and raw and you are brought into a whole different world and because of that, I can almost put on an alter ego when I am singing it and playing it. I can't wait to bring it to other people at as well - It's such a fun song to dance to, to sing along to and it's finally here.”
