Hey there, folks! Time for your not-so-average weather report cruising the coastal waters of beautiful Florida. So, what's up with the weather out there on the waves?
Well, we've got some northeast winds blowing in at around 20 to 25 miles per hour, with potential gusts reaching up to 30 miles per hour. Translation? Hang onto your hats, sailors! And keep those sails tied down tight.
For those out on the Gulf Stream, expect seas running between 7 to 10 feet through Sunday. That's like having a two-story house of water beneath you. So, small craft folks, be cautious out there. Those waves are no joke!
Over by Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, we've got a Small Craft Advisory in effect until this evening. Northeast winds will be the main act, ranging from 20 to 30 miles per hour with occasional showers adding a touch of spontaneity to your day.
Now, for Lake Okeechobee, you're looking at a moderate chop with those northeast winds dancing between 10 to 15 miles per hour. A bit of a mixed bag with some showers making an appearance now and then. Stay dry, my friends!
And don't forget about Biscayne Bay, where a Small Craft Advisory is also rocking the boat today. From choppy waters with gusts up to 30 miles per hour, it's not your typical Sunday cruise out there.
So, whether you're cruising, fishing, or just enjoying the views, remember to stay safe, keep an eye on those forecasts, and maybe hold off on that outdoor BBQ for now.
